It must be hard watching your daughter go through that. It's the opposite with me. My mother is the ONLY one who wants me to stay with my BF. (She has relationship issues... hasn't ever been without a BF since she got prg with me... she always makes sure she is in another relationship before she gets out of her old one.. not good) and all the other female members of my family want me to be happy, explore, get to know myself.
It's hard when your mom tells you, "do you really think anyone could put up with you the way your BF does? Noone will treat you that well" ...
She's the only one who just wants me to have a BF for the sake of not being alone. Blah!
