Brea just turned one in October. She is my smallest dog - right around 4 lbs. (she's the one in my avatar) She was never very affectionate. She didn't want to sit on anyones lap or cuddle or even be pet much.

If I wore my bag for her to be in, she would be content in there while we were at someone's house or something.

Now, all of a sudden she wants attention and bounces all over the couch to get noticed when I'm sitting there. When I pet her, she will shower me with kisses.... something she NEVER did before. She will lie in my lap and let me pet her for a long time.

Is that not weird? I wonder why she changed now? I thought maybe it was just her personality that she just wasn't a real affectionate dog.

Anyway... just wanted to share that cause I think it's interesting how she changed right after her 1st birthday. I'm glad she did cause she's a sweetie and I've always wanted her to be a cuddle bug.
