Zippy used to be the constant jumper, someone walks through the door - jump, food time - jump, etc. he could jump high too, almost up to your face. Then one day when he was about 7 or 8, I think jumping for dinner he crushed his disc. My sister got the surgery at Manhattan Animal Hospital, the doctors said he will allways have a limp. He is 15 now and on pain meds, but when its humid the meds don't help. So now with Chip I'm trying to keep his jumping to a minimum. Since your furbutts are littln's you also have to be concerned about breaking bones if they land incorrectly.
