If it were me, I would keep the face trimmed like a maltese as she seems to have the facial qualities of a maltese (ears, shape of head, hair). Does she have enough hair to put in a topknot???? I think she would darling with a malt trimmed face with a topknot. The underside I would just keep trimmed even.......she is a darling looking little thing!!
