My Marcel is 3 pounds and he gets 1 medallion in the a.m. and 1 in the evening. I don't think there is ANY way your dog is getting what he needs. Perhaps 2-3% is correct if feeding prey model - but what you're feeding right now is not correct for NV. Yikes.

IMO, I don't believe in once a day feeding. Where have you read it's better?
