The author of the Golden Compass has admitted that he hates CS Lewis (a Christian) so he wrote a series of children's books that would compare to Narnia but at the end of the 3 book trilogy, the children in the book kill God. The movie is trying to generate interest in the books so people will go out and read the books, which are more explicit in the athiest view than the movie. |
