I dont know what it is called. But I know it is done through a IV... They give them the smallest amout that they can.. But they say there is always risk.. As far as the teeth being bad... I dont know if it is just my yorkies. But if they go over a month without me trying to clean them.. They are nasty. And get this!!!!! They are on dry food and I give them dental bones by the lbs... I just got over 50 dollars of bones last month...
