Its this time of year that I make all of my dental appointments for my yorkies teeth to be cleaned... I really try hard to maintain their teeth through out the year. BUT as the new year gets closer I see I have lost the battle. So everyone has to go in for their dental appointments.... I HATE THIS>>. I am so nervous the whole day they are at the vet... I am always thinking are they going to wake up... If I was better at maintaing them thru the year I would not have to take them. But they are so hyper and I cant hold them for very long. They get upset and act like they are goint to die.

I spoke with a breeder a few years ago(I cant remember who it was maybe she is on her) and she was shocked I put my yorkies under so often to have the teeth cleaned. She said she gave them some type of medicine 1 hour prior to trying to clean the teeth. She never has problems with cleaning them. She does it herself. Why I am asking is I had a
huge scare last year. My Scarlett almost didn't wake up.. She was limp for over 24 hours. I brought her home and she layed in my bed all night without even getting up.. I was scared she would stop breathing.... I really dont think we should put her through this this year....attached is her picture... I love her so much. PLEASE HELP>>>>>>
