Maybe you can get people in your community to start a petition and protest petland. Maybe the local news will even report on puppymills and some of the bad stories from petland

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
