Bless you for doing that! Just an idea on the vet bills -- is there anyway you can call the Humane Society to see if they could do a reduced or free checkup on her? I'm wondering considering the circumstances if they would be able to help!
Also, I'm sure a rescue could take her in and afford her vetting if she can't otherwise find an appropriate home.
