We do not have a fence around our backyard, but Gizmo loves to play outside. Our neighbors put up a small fenced area for their poms, but it's a nightmare to mow since it can't be moved.

Please know that Gizmo will NEVER be outside unsupervised. This is simply so we can have a safe area to allow him to play off-leash for short periods of time with active supervision.

So, I am researching Xpens since I know nothing about them. What size would I need? Which ones can panels be added to in the future to make it bigger? Is a door a necessity? What materials would be best? Can these be moved to mow or transport to a different location?

If you have any suggestions or experiences to share, I would appreciate them. Santa keeps asking me what I want for Christmas, and this is all I can think of.
