This reminds me a little of Bernie's story. When he was turned over to rescue, he had been hit by a car and left for dead. His pelvis and leg were broken...the rescue, like any other, did not have the funds for the several $1000 surgery. Does your rescue have a website? Can we all get the word out to the "dog-loving" world through email, etc., to check out his story and donate??? I would happily attach his story/website etc. to emails to anyone I think might be moved to donate. If everyone her got the word out to just a few people...

I know there are lots of people out their who will donate to save a little rescue guy.
