This reminds me a little of Bernie's story. When he was turned over to rescue, he had been hit by a car and left for dead. His pelvis and leg were broken...the rescue, like any other, did not have the funds for the several $1000 surgery. I wish I could tell you exactly what they did, I know they had fundraisers...I met several people who worked on Bernie's fundraisers at their annual event last year.
What about Chopstix? Does anyone remember all the fundraising that went on for her (him?)...
Does your rescue have a website? Can we all get the word out to the "dog-loving" world through email, etc., to check out his story and donate??? I would happily attach his story/website etc. to emails to anyone I think might be moved to donate. If everyone her got the word out to just a few people...
I know there are lots of people out their who will donate to save a little rescue guy.
