I probably won't be able to get another one until I'm out of school in 3-4 years (although I'm dying for another one right now!). I've already started saving websites of breeders I like (maltese and yorkie)..so when the time comes, I'll already know of breeders I want to contact

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
