I happened to mention to Pixies breeder when i went to collect her that i got my last yorkie, Heidi, at 8 weeks of age, she said 'that breeder should be shot!!! LOL.
When i got Heidi, she was soooooo tiny! my mum told me to take her back as she should still be with her mother! Luckily, she did very well and had a fantastic apetite. she grew to be between 5-6lbs as an adult...Pixie is far far smaller..there is NO WAY she would have left her mother at 8 weeks...she was only 1.5 lbs at 14+ weeks! imagine how tiny she would have been at 8 wks!
