6 WEEKS? Oh my goodness. That's way too young. Puppies need to learn to socialise with other dogs, they learn this up until about 12 weeks of age.

I picked Suzy up at 8 weeks, she was very healthy & vet checked. She came home and we instantly started socialising her with my other 2 dogs (who had a clean bill of health and were all up to date with their injections so they wouldn't pass anything onto the pup or vice versa.) They need to learn how to interact with other dogs, if they don't it can cause problems in the future.

If I decide to breed I won't be letting the pups go until 12 weeks, I've decided already. My Mum used to breed Maltese pups so she knows what she's doing in a way, and she'll be helping me, but they're still very young and tender up until that age. It's for the best for both them and the skin family they're going into.
