I have had my boy now for almost a week and have still not named him. Poor little guy
I think I like the name Dakota. It means friend in Cherokee. I thought about calling him Kota for short, but really like Dakota. Is this name too long for a dog? Will he be able to recognize it? Also, what kind of name did you put on your dog's papers? I thought about just doing a first and middle name like a person ( I like Dakota James HE HE) but I think some people do it differently. Anyway, what do you guys think?
