Yep...definitely sounds like reflux. My dad has it & has to take medication for it. If he doesn't take it he has that burning feeling you described. I know you can't take anything now, but maybe your dr can recommend SOMETHING you can do. If it's bothering you too much before your appointment, try calling your doctor's nurse...she should be able to tell you something too & it's usually not too hard to get hold of the nurses.
