Must just be every doctors preference because when I was pregnant with my baby last year (#2) my doctor asked if I would be wanting my tubes tied after the birth. I was only 26 years old.

I read the first page of this thread and then skipped to the last wondering why it was so long. The thread seemed to take a 90 degree turn!

As for breeders choosing where their pups go, more power to them! They actually care about the animal more than the dollar. I have very young children but it has been top priority for me from day one to teach my children how to treat animals. But you do have to be very careful with dogs this size and pay extra attention when both kids and dog are playing together. Accidents can happen to quickly.

And as far as rehoming a pet goes, isn't that the better option over sending them to the shelter? If you can't keep an animal you just can't.

I've never understood why people bother themselves with others business. If it doesn't personally affect you (aside from a terrible situation like child or animal abuse), who cares what someone else does?!
