When I first got Tinker I fed her Eukanuba, because that is what the breeder suggested. Well, come to find out that it was making her sick. She would throw up and have diahrrea.
For the longest time we could not figure out what was making her sick. We thought it may be from stress, but eventually I decided to change her food and see what happens. In a week she was 100% better. Then my friend told me she had to take her shih tzu in for surgery, because they found a mass in his intestines. Turns out it was a ball of gas. Ended up being the Iams. So she had to pay $2000 to find this out. The main problem with these foods is that they are full of corn, which is hard for them to digest and it isn't just our lil' babies that are affected it's many breeds. I had a 22 lb. mini schnauzer a couple years ago, and she was very sick as well. I only wish I new this before and I may have been able to make her last years more comfortable. So if you use this brand and are wondering why your pup is not feeling well try changing their food. One more tidbit, it is also way way too high in fat and causes them to be hyper active. I know puppies are already that way, but believe me you'll see a difference. A suggestion is ID. You can get it in soft or hard. It is Tinker's wonder food =).
