I used a snugglepuppy which is soft and has a heartbeat with both of my boys which I got 6 months apart. I put them in a large kennel with a pee pad in the back of the kennel and I put them on the snugglepuppy in the front of the kennel at night and neither one of them ever cried. I put them in the bathroom at night. I only kenneled them at night until they were pad trained and about 16 weeks. They snuggle together at night in there dog bed now.
