Oh Pat. Don't scare me. I have been so excited at the thought of this pairs offspring. Even getting dates set for training next April for the pups I keep that may be :::fingers crossed::: show quality. This would devistate me. That's is weird though how they can throw something that doesn't resemble their mom and dad. Their first 4 generations from what we can tell are similar colors, coats, topline....yada yada. But my metor said that it can go back to the 10th generation and pull some from any usually not beyond the 10th though. =( I wish I owned all 10 generations so I'd know (or at least think I know) exaclty what to expect. I love the fact that they are all different BUT suprises can ruin a dream of producing a champion. The ones I don't feel will make it will be sold as pets and companions but I'd relish the fact that I may produce a CH. Wish me luck. If not this time maybe next time, probably with an outside stud. =)------
Pat, I found a gal with a 3 pound full of yorkboro, and many others. She is charging $400 for the stud. I think that's a little cheap??? My mentor is out of town until at least Tuesday so I can't ask her............I have been through all the normal questions and plan to visit tommorrow to see her home and facilities. I have sent her pictures of my female and she was flabbergasted that she isn't from CH. parents. WOW I am thinking but anyhow...........Should I question the price? Would I be stupid to ask why she doesn't charge more? LOL...
