I have been in your friends shoes before... I told my dear friend how I felt about her husband when things were really, really bad.
She chose to stay with him, and now, years later she is still a dear friend, but I keep my mouth closed about her husband, because she made her choice and I have to support her. So until he becomes dangerous or abusive I will stay quiet..
