Orinskye: if you have been doing his nails yourself DO NOT take him in to have them done. If they hurt him (I know it wouldn't be on purpose) it will take him forever to trust YOU with nail clippers. I don't know who hurt Pirogue but he hasn't been to the groomers since he was about 6 months old and he is 15 months now. He shakes like a leaf if I am holding him in my lap and have nail clippers in my other hand. I don't even have to bring them near him, he only has to see them. He shakes so hard I am afraid to clip his nails, his paws shake so hard. They charged $8 at my vet to do Lady's nails and didn't get them as short as I do. It was safe but not worth my time as my vet is 30 minutes away from us. Sylvia
