I don't believe anyone has mentioned that you don't own yorkies. Yorkies own you! Yorkies are very personable and have so much character! They can be more demanding than the other breeds you have mentioned, as they do talk to you about their needs and are very active. I also have Chihuahuas. Chihuahuas are also very loving but can more of a one family dog. Chihuahuas may not get out to meet people in public as well as a yorkie. With Yorkies, the more the merrier and with Chihuahuas, the quieter the situation the merrier. Chihuahuas are more lap dogs and yorkies are more terrors
The terrier attitude of the yorkie is what draws people to them, but if you don't have the energy for that, it may not be the dog for you.
Please be sure you read up on liver shunt before buying a yorkie. You DO want to get a healthy one. I can't believe how many buyers ask if there was a 'runt' in the litter. That is exactly the puppy you would be concerned about having a shunt.
