from what i know...i could be wrong, but acr is american canine registry. most large kennels use this registry because it is very inexpensive. all you have to do is register the dog with no background knowledge of the breed. large kennels do this as a means to say "registered puppies/dogs" to make it sound better. most puppy stores have this reg b/c these puppies comes from large kennels, commercial breeders and puppy mills.
