dogs get their vaccines once a year, they do not depend on the season. The only thing thats seasonal is heartworms and fleas/ticks. The distemper combo vaccine is given every year, and the rabies vaccine is given every three (first vaccine is a on year tho). Other vaccines are optional. i do not give them to my dog. After a few years the distemper vaccine does not need to be given yearly. You can do a titer to test their antibodies.
Do you think your puppy got parvo as a reaction to the vaccine?
