Yes, there are a few different strains of parvo. The only thing that seems to kill it is bleach or parvocides. It will be on your place for at least a year.Where ever you or the dog walked and whatever you or the dog touched will have the parvo virus on it. I would keep up with the parvo innoculations as he could get it again, just a different strain. You are very lucky that he made it through!! There is a strain of parvo that can kill in 24 hours. |
