I just read your last post with tears in my eyes. I know so well how you feel. I cannot imagine my life without my girls. I love them not because they are "like" my children, they ARE my children.(And I DO have a "skinkid".) People who do not understand will call us nuts. Let them. We know what our babies have given us, their complete love, complete devotion. Why should we not give them the same precious gift they give to us? I read in these forums all the time of Mommies that will go to absolutely extraordinary lengths to help their babies when they are ill, will look anywhere and everywhere for a cure, will regard every little tiny step forward of an ailing furkid, like it's the most joyful event, because it is. So you keep on fighting for your precious Sadie - you know she would lay down her life for you if she could.
