Ask about the NuvaRing. It's time released so there's less (for me no) spotting like on the pills. Also, it's a super low dose of hormones because it's not a pill that gets filtered through your system. Added bonus, you don't have to take it every day. I rarely forgot with pills, but even if you remember it's just easier not to take them! I mark on my calendar when to change it. And another bonus, if you want to do the 3 month/4 periods a year thing you can just leave it in for 4 weeks and then take it out and put in a new one. Otherwise you have it in 3 weeks, out 1 week.

BTW it's like $36 at my pharmacy. More than generics but less than some of the fancy ones.
