I have been feeding her cooked ground round and rice for her two meals and in the morning I feed her small hard "cookies". She has eaten very fast from the time we got her. She is not bloated at all. Mia must have a very high metabolism because even though I increase her amount of food, she is not gaining anymore weight. The vet says Mia is very healthy and she just was spayed 10 days ago. However, Mia always ate this way. I never thought of asking the vet, but I appreciate the comments and advice. I will try putting something in the middle of her bowl to help her slow down.
