Lacy always had the shot until we started using a new vet here. She got the intranasal for the first time then. The intranasal is actually more effective since it stimulates an immune response in the mucosa. With a respiratory infection like bordetella, it infects the mucosa so the shot form doesn't work as well. The only way I know how to explain it in detail is kindof complicated...it involves specific types of antibodies and all..but yeah, intranasal is better
