(the stress of the shipping etc. could compromise it's immune system) You'd then have to go through the hassel of shipping the puppy back etc.
Also, the more people you deal with, the greater the chance for error. The pup might get lost, somehow put on the wrong flight, left at the airport etc. etc.
A lot of airlines are now either refusing "in cabin" pets, or putting greater restrictions on them.
I'd be very nervous about not having any real control of what happens to the pup in the time that it leaves it's destination and the time that it reaches your care.
But... that's just me and I'm VERY good at worrying. |
Yeah.. But I got recommendations from this breeder from fellow YTers and she gave me recommendations from other breeders who have her dogs in the US. She is not a broker and was able to provide proof that the dogs are real by showing items by the dog that I request (like my name oo a piece of paper/newspaper with date)... Many people import dogs (that's why we have the diversity)... After doing all of the research you can sometimes you have to go ahead and take the chance when it's something that you really want. I have also emailed (haven't recieved reply) a letter to their Kennel Club about the dogs they have shown to see prove that they show..... still.... I'm just looking and opening my options. I'm not trying to get a dog at this moment because I'm trying to move...
