I was going to say the exact same thing. Because it is a meaty chew, the medicine is actually injected into it. So it's possible to have all of it in one small portion of that chew...I highly doubt it's ever evenly distributed in one of them because of it being injected. Those chews are safe for any weight up to 25lbs so just give the whole thing. Lacy has had one every month for three years with no problems and no heartworms
