I put food out for my lil one in the morning and again at night.....she eats when she is hungry....but I measure how much I put out each day and as long as she is getting her daily intake of food I don't worry....she also is down to where she only poops once in the morning and again once in the evening...
There are also times that she enjoys a bit of variety so I try to provide her with that as much as possible....
