Wow - thank you very much for the compliment..that was very nice of you.
I have also bought things from Fluffybutts rescue to help them and to purchase things I need. I hope they can raise the funds to stay in operation as I think this is the problem here as I suspect they don't have the funds to get the license or it is upsetting to them that they have to spend their funds this way and not on the dogs.
I also agree sometimes rescues do get overwhelmed as they know in many cases they are the last stop and if they say no, they know the dog will be put down. This is an awful thing for anyone in rescue to have to do.
