I'm so sorry

My parents live in the country with woods surrounding the house and there are coyotes around there. I've gone outside at night before with Lacy and saw one across the yard...scared me to death. And one night by dad went outside with Rylie (their yorkie) and there was a coyote in the woods and Rylie took off out there and my dad yelled at Rylie to come back and luckily he stopped and came back to my dad. If he hadn't, he would have probably had the same fate as Max

My parents are pretty good about taking him out on a leash at night now, although my dad will still occasionally still let him out without one. I'm going to tell them what happened to Max so hopefully they'll be sure to always take him out on a leash in the dark

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
