He sleeps, eats eats eats, plays with bandit supervised, take walks, poops pees that is what he does. He does not and has not been responding to any type of training even from a professional trainer. We do not know why. I do a lot of fun things with my other puppy Bandit and he responds to all sorts of games, this one will not. We have all tried. So why AM I NOT ALLOWED to say things about him? Should I pretend he is so great? He is badly bread obviously and has a poor temperment, it is like he has zero personality, that is not my fault, its the breeder's for breeding him this way. Soundness and temperment is of utmost importance in breeding...then we have the being left to do as he pleased before he came to me. We are still working on it, he is NOT responding to house training either. We have him with a professional trainer on Saturdays which is today, all we can do is TRY, he gets loved and cuddled but he cant be spending his life only cuddling and not trying to learn things. He just does not seem interested in learning. You all give me a break please and stop the badgering when ever I make a complaint. I have a right to make complaints about my dogs. |
I don't think she was talking about tricks and such. I think she meant more of what do you like about him and what does he do that makes you smile

Does he ever get the zoomies, do the yorkie head tilt, bring you toys, sleep in funny little positions, that kind of thing.
His personality doesn't have anything to do with his breeding. It's due to the environment he was raised in for the first few months of his life. This behavior developed over months of being in that environment so it can't be unlearned over a period of just a few weeks. I've dealt with quite a few puppy mill dogs and sometimes it just takes a lot of time, patience, love, and persistance to get them where they need to be.
As far as the poop goes, he should not be pooping that many times in a day. Maybe once or twice. And his poop should not be so soft that it smears all over his face. That is a sign that something is not right. I would look into changing his diet.
