  What you fail to realize is that there ARE yorkie breeders out there who take all of those issues into consideration.  Some show breeders I know have only breed dogs from specific lines--closely line bred.  They know those dogs will be healthy because the have known the history of the line for generations upon generations.  We do need more breeders like that.
