Yes, its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Keep the treats and the clicker in your pocket, when he starts to bark don't say a work but wait until he stops by himself, when he stops gently say 'quiet, good boy' and click the clicker at exactly the same time as you give him the treat. Keep doing that every time he barks until he starts to stop earlier and earlier in anticipation of the click and treat, then once you are certain he is beginning to understand (usually takes at least a few days) you can begin to say 'quiet' while he is still barking, eventually he should stop on your command waiting for his click and treat.
