I currently have a 11 month old who weighs 1.5 - 2.0 lbs. You have to be extra careful with them. Even dropping something on the floor is dangerous if they happen to be under you. And putting a bell on them is also recommended. Lily wears a breakaway cat collar with a bell on it so I can hear her when she is close to my feet. And watch out for predators, not only hawks and owls but even cats can be dangerous. I have had 2 stray cats try to get Lily.

You also have to make sure that there is not a reason for being so small. Some common causes are Liver Shunt, MVD/HMD, and Hydrocephalus. Be sure to request a Bile Acid Test, full blood panel, and look for an open font. It's always better to be safe than sorry with these little ones.
