It is really sad that most states will not do much about puppy mills but are trying to shut down some of the rescue organizations. I foster rescues for an organization in Iowa. They are giveing her a bad time, trying to say she needs a breeders or dealers liense. Which she is neither. I think some of the humane societies do not like the rescue organizations because they treat the dogs better and do everything they can to save the animal and find a good home.  |
I'm in Iowa - where is this rescue out that they are trying to close? I had not heard this. I work in the media, perhaps this is a story that should be told
