Welcome to YT! I think most reputable breeders will only allows those that they think are serious about buying a puppy actually come to their house to see the puppies. I've seen several breeders here on YT say that they e-mail back and forth and talk on the phone a few times and if they approve the potential buyer then they will allow them to come see the puppies. You may not be positive that you're buying a puppy from this breeder, but she knows you are serious about buying a puppy and has met her qualifications so far

The only thing that sounds wierd to me is that it takes a long time to get the parents and puppies ready. I know puppies make a mess so maybe she just wants to make sure their area is spotless, but I don't know why it would take a really long time to get everything all ready. I can understand Saturdays though because most people are very busy during the week

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
