In my case, the skin tests remind me of an ant bite. That sting....It is uncomfortable but it did not "hurt"....The worst part for me was that you could not touch where they tested for like 10 minutes or so....Seemed like forever....Then they came back to the room and marked what all I was allergic to....Then they gave me something for the itching....
I have had the tests done twice....Two differ allergists.....They did my whole back and both arms
I have attached a pic of my back after one of the tests...This was taken about 5 hours after they tested me and gave me the meds for relief..
Also, if you have to have the shots...I get 2 shots twice a week...They do not hurt...They are the tiniest needles....
