Wait till she is older before you play hardball with her about food. My vet was very upset with me when Gracie was four months old, because I basically had a stand off with Gracie over food. She would not eat anything but cooked chicken and I learned small dogs really needed hard dog food so I gave her the hard dog food and for two days she would not eat ANYTHING. I told the vet and she told me while they are puppies to never let them go without food because they are growing. I told her Gracie had not eaten for two days and let's just say the vet was not pleased. She said to wait till they are adults before you force them to eat hard dog food.
