She probably can survive on the baby food but she will not thrive on it and be healthy. She needs fiber to make her poo the consistency to keep her anal glands open. Her teeth will suffer greatly.
How old is she? How much does she weigh? Could she not gofor a short period of time without the baby food or mixed with crushed premium dog kibble? I don't think they can go 24 hours without eating but maybe just wait longer than usual and see if she will eat it. Try putting food in a flat saucer or in a different dish that she is accustomed. My dogs like to eat out of a flat dish; if I feed in a bowl, they will not eat.. |
