I can say, as the person who posted the link to the myspace page that this poor dog was listed off and on for OVER a year on different websites and also on Myspace.
The price would change daily and sometimes a couple times a day. So would the weight(2.4 pounds somedays, other times 2 pounds, now I see it's 3) I feel sooo bad for Lola. The original owner obviously thinks of her as a possession, not a companion. I would not believe a word posted by her and I seriously doubt anyone really does believe her. This dog was for sale for a very very long time, please remember that.
I don't know if I feel worse for Lola who deserves a loving home where she is wanted or Rachel, who only wanted Lola to love and take care of and is now being put through the ringer. It sounds like Lola needs some medical care that Maria was not giving her and can NOT afford. |
Lola has not been for sale for a 'very very long time'. I listed her last year around this time, for about two months, when I was working about 50 hours a week, and then I listed her again, extremely briefly, last month after she peed on my sofa. And I stated in the previous post that I made a hasty decision about putting her for sale. I've always had a MySpace page for her, and it only said she was for sale last year around this time, for like a month. And yes, last year the price would change daily...sometimes I'd make excuses to people I didn't want her to go to, and other times I was desperate to just find a great home for her. A great home to me involves spoiling her like I do, and being able to cover any cost that comes up....being able to pay a certain amount up front was comfort that someone could truly afford taking care of her. As for her size changing in the listings, first of all I've NEVER said she was two pounds, it's always been two pounds four ounces to three pounds. Again, I'd adjust the listing to what was actual.
You don't have any idea what I can or cannot afford. You have absolutely no idea whom you are speaking about. I can assure you, I can more than provide for Lola's medical care. I'm going to leave you with one tidbit so you shut up about money. My child support alone is $2400 a month, which is $600 a week, more than the average person earns at their job! Not only do I also have a great job, which I'm currently on medical leave, but I also have extensive rental property, and if my mother is buying me a Yorkie for Christmas as ONE of my presents, doesn't that tell you anything about my family's means?!
Please make sure you know what you're talking about before you start spewing crap.
