OMG - (sheesh) - - I was going to ask, "water or pedialite" - I have both.
As for bananas... she won't take ANYTHING on her own, so it has to fit through the syringe.... I do have onhand some Gerber banana juice w/ yogurt.... the sodium is not too high - - - - especially if I dilute it a bit...
What do you think? |
Dena,
I've been gone a few hours, so was catching up here now. I put a call into my own Vet to ask him about your question concerning
Pedialite. I did not want to offer advice on the subject, because it is so long since I have had to use it. I explained to him that Natalie is on Lassix.
He assured me that the Pedialite is safe to give her, and will help offset the Potassium loss.
Do you have an Emergency service near you, in case Natalie needs it over the weekend? I wish I lived near you, so that I could be of more use, like babysitting her while you took a nap/walk.
Hugs to you,
Lauren
