Dena, have you read the thread that Wylie'sMom posted about nutrition? I think she could help you with a low sodium diet. It is so great that you have an appointment by this coming tuesday, and I know you want to do everything you can to keep her strength up until then.
With the Lasix, perhaps you should ask your Vet exactly how much fluid Nat should be getting while she is on it. If, for example, he says 8 ozs. per 24 hours - you could pour that amount into a measuring cup, and dole it out from there. That way you could keep track of the exact of amount of water she is getting. This would avoid over stressing her system with too much fluid intake. Also, another thought I had - Lasix can cause potassium levels to go out of whack and I do know that potassium regulates the heart beat. In Nat's case, I am sure this factor is very, very important. Can she have banana if you break it into tiny pieces, because it helps to increase potassium levels?

Make a list of questions for your Vet. You are so stressed out, that when you phone him, I am sure you forget so many things. I know that happens to me during stressful periods.

Please know that I am thinking of you all the time. If your beautiful little girl is not ready to give up yet, then neither should you. If your Vet feels it is hopeless and she is suffering, trust me, he will tell you. Until then you fight the good fight Girl; I and all of us here are right behind you.
Hugs,
Lauren
