After my "break-down" from reading your post... I need to apologize.... I didn't mean to sound abrasive.... I tried to go in and edit it, but you had already responded, so I couldn't get back to it....
I'm certainly not here to judge the choice you felt you needed to make by putting your baby to sleep.... only you, he and God knew what was best for him..... and I know, sometimes, there is just nothing more that even "medical miracles" can provide.
In answer to your question about Natalie's x-ray.... yes... it looked very much like the one you posted..... only her tiny heart is almost perfectly round.... so it is BOTH the left and right ventricles that are enlarged.
It was mentioned that the x-rays are not conclusive as too many variables can come into play... (i.e., positioning of the animal, different "interferences" within the x-ray itself, etc.) Hense the need for more specialized testing.
I've just heard back from one of Natalie's veterinarians and she is in the process of making referrals to both OSU and Texas A&M as I type.... (mainly because not knowing anything about either, I couldn't decide which to go with) - there are "pro's" and "con's" to both - - and the immediate concern is of course appointment availability and funding.
Anyway.... this is where we are at the moment..... again, I apologize if my previous post to you seemed brash.... it was simply a spontanious reaction...
